Technology is now a determining factor for the competitiveness of the country system. Continuous commitment to research and innovation helps companies adapt to the rapid dynamics of the socio-economic context. The study serves as a guide for decision-makers in institutions, industries, and investors to anticipate and understand what our technological future will be and the most significant expected impacts on our entire society.
AIRI brings this study to the attention of institutions and the country to demonstrate that a well-defined strategy, accompanied by investments and systemic cooperation between industrial and public research, is essential for defining realistic policies for technological development and industrial competitiveness in a rapidly changing geopolitical and socio-economic context.
The report will be presented at the AIRI Day for Industrial Innovation 2025, titled TECHNOLOGICAL SCENARIOS FOR RESEARCH AND THE ITALIAN INDUSTRY OF THE NEXT FUTURE, which will take place on May 28, 2025, at Unioncamere, Rome.
